Day 6 - First Date and The Dead Rabbit
Before we left for our trip there was a lot of things that we wanted to do and a Broadway Show and a trip to The Dead Rabbit were up there! We booked First Date before we arrived so that we didn't have to waste time and queue for tickets.
Day 6 - Flat Iron, Empire State and Birreria
We were so blessed during our trip with the best weather. It allowed us to sit in a rooftop restaurant and bar in the Flat Iron District called Birreria, which was above Eataly, and enjoy cask beers and Prosecco! The food was amazing too but if I'm honest I wasn't a fan of their Olive Oil Mash, but that's just me!
East Village I Miss You
For our stay in New York City I got very very lucky and found an amazing apartment on AirBNB with an amazing host called John in the East Village! What a cool neighbourhood and a great base for a trip to the city. The apartment was close to a subway stops and was a 2 minute walk away from great bars and restaurants!
I would highly recommend anyone to stay in the apartment and the neighbourhood and also use the AirBNB website!
