LaDuree - Dublin

In June of this year I visited Dublin with friends and while walking through Connolly Station I noticed someone carrying a LaDuree bag which I hunted down in Brown Thomas.  I thought I was going to have to go back to Paris for these macaroons but alas they are in Dublin.  If I am honest tho there was no comparison in the taste and flavours available, Paris won hands down!!!

Paris - Padlock Love

Before going to Paris I had seen somewhere about padlocks that decorated the bridges that crossed over the River Seine.  I thought the photos that this photographer ( who I initially spotted the padlocks through) had taken were beautiful so I had to go and find them for myself!!

When in Paris I realised that it was not just one bridge that was covered but several.  The bridge which is pictured above is close to Notre Dame, it is actually just at the back beside the beautiful little garden featured here.

As you can see from the lack of photo's in the Louvre I am still 'learning' to use my camera and if I'm honest learning as in getting myself away from the automatic settings.  I've promised myself this is the year!!

Paris - From the Top of The Eiffel Tower

We finally made it to the top of the Eiffel Tower on Day Three.  Once there we had a game of 'Stop The Landmarks' and I think we found all the big ones.

As you can see from the pictures the gorgeous blue skies didn't hold out for longer than a day for us but that didn't spoil anything at all!!
