Strength
“Strength isn’t about how much you can handle before you break.
It’s about how much you can handle after you break.”
It’s about how much you can handle after you break.”

The Hunger Games
I go through stages where, sometimes you will not see me without a book in my hand or I could go from months without reading anything, even a magazine!
Right now I'm in the in the 'I cannot go to bed without reading stage' and can finally say that I have read The Hunger Games Trilogy and a very good Trilogy it was! I'm very much looking forward to seeing the next film.
I ordered quite a lot of books from Amazon recently so I will be sure to keep you up to date on my book adventure.

Hope
Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune--without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I've heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.
Perfect ..... Never!!!
“No relationship is perfect, ever.
There are always some ways you have to bend, to compromise,
to give something up in order to gain something greater…The love we
have for each other is bigger than these small differences. And that’s the key.
It’s like a big pie chart, and the love in a
relationship has to be the biggest piece.
Love can make up for a lot”

Dave Matthews Band Incubus Mash Up
I first heard Dave Matthews Band in the summer of 2001. There was 10 of us sharing an apartment in New York until we, myself and 4 others got the keys to our place! We were all sitting in the living room and having 'the craic' and the original of this song was part of the soundtrack. I was then shuffling through play-lists on 8 tracks and this remix randomly played which I have been listening to it ever since. It has to be shared!
Hope you enjoy!
Tennents Vital Untapped
I will apologise in advance for the photo and video overload in this post but I just had to sure every last one of them.
Let me introduce you to the wonderful Peter McVeigh!! I first heard of Peter last year when a friend 'liked' his page on Facebook (I know Facebook gets in everywhere but its true) and being the person that I am and knew that said friend's musical taste could be trusted off I went for a listen. By the end of the night I had ordered his new EP Lights (which you can get here) and EP from his old band Eskimo's Fall.
My favourite song is at the bottom of this post, give it a listen and then head on over and tell Peter how much you loved his music which I know he would love.
Paris - Padlock Love
Before going to Paris I had seen somewhere about padlocks that decorated the bridges that crossed over the River Seine. I thought the photos that this photographer ( who I initially spotted the padlocks through) had taken were beautiful so I had to go and find them for myself!!
When in Paris I realised that it was not just one bridge that was covered but several. The bridge which is pictured above is close to Notre Dame, it is actually just at the back beside the beautiful little garden featured here.
