World Police and Fire Games 2013

I have been looking forward to the World Police and Fire Games coming to Belfast for what seems like a lifetime! It's hard to believe that they are now half way through and I have only been to one Ice Hockey which unfortunately was not to see my below FDNY or NYPD.  However we did get to see Las Vegas Guns and Hoses beat Reykjavik Ice Falcons!!

I have tomorrow off work and will be a part of the crowd watching the team events of the Ultimate Fire Fighter.  Needless to say I am very very excited!!

Kings Of Leon

On Wednesday 14th August I will have the joy of listening to this band and this song, hopefully, live in Boucher Road playing fields for part of the 2 day event that is Tennents Vital!

This will be my second time seeing Kings of Leon live in concert!  Thinking that this would be our only opportunity, Leanne and I travelled to London in June 2010 to watch them perform in Hyde Park.  Little did we know they would be coming to play our home city just over 3 years later!!!

What Will It Be

No one falls in love by choice, it is by chance

no one stays in love by chance, it is by work

no one falls out of love by chance, it is by choice

Capital Cities

Just Do It

There will a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something,

something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others.

When that happens, you do it.

Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else.

Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it

The Great Effects

If you loved The Great Gatsby as much as I did, this is a video that you must watch with a great song to match from the movie too!!
